This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using Audiosa's call transcription and analytics platform ("Service"). This policy is part of and supplements our Terms of Service.
By using our Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
2. Acceptable Use
You may use Audiosa to:
- Upload and transcribe business call recordings where you have proper consent
- Analyze sales, customer service, and support calls
- Train and coach your team based on call insights
- Generate reports and analytics for internal business purposes
- Integrate with your CRM and business tools via our API
- Monitor calls for quality assurance and compliance purposes
3. Prohibited Content
You may NOT upload or process content that:
- Was recorded without proper legal consent (in violation of applicable wiretapping or recording laws)
- Contains explicit sexual content or pornography
- Depicts or promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activities
- Contains hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
- Violates the privacy rights of individuals
4. Prohibited Activities
You may NOT:
4.1 Legal Violations
- Record calls without obtaining proper consent as required by law
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
- Process calls in violation of HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or other regulatory requirements applicable to you
- Evade or circumvent legal obligations
4.2 Security Violations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network
- Bypass or circumvent security or authentication measures
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Transmit viruses, worms, or other malicious code
4.3 Abuse and Misuse
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond normal API usage
- Overwhelm or overload our infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
4.4 Harmful Conduct
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate others
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Collect or harvest personal information without consent
- Engage in activities that harm our reputation or brand
5. Call Recording Consent Requirements
Your Legal Responsibility
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable call recording laws. Many jurisdictions require all-party consent before recording a call. Failure to obtain proper consent may expose you to civil and criminal liability.
Before uploading any recordings to Audiosa, ensure that:
- You have obtained consent from all parties to the call as required by applicable law
- Recording disclosures were made at the beginning of each call
- You maintain records of consent for compliance purposes
- Your recording practices comply with your industry's regulations
6. Resource Limits
To ensure fair use and Service availability for all customers:
- File Size: Individual recordings must not exceed 500MB
- API Rate Limits: API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan
- Concurrent Uploads: Excessive concurrent uploads may be throttled
- Storage: Storage is subject to your subscription limits
If you need higher limits, please contact our sales team to discuss enterprise options.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately:

Please include as much detail as possible, including account information and evidence of the violation.
8. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- Warning: Written notice of the violation with a request to cease the activity
- Content Removal: Removal of violating content from the Service
- Account Suspension: Temporary suspension of your access to the Service
- Account Termination: Permanent termination of your account
- Legal Action: Reporting to law enforcement or initiation of legal proceedings
No Refunds: Account suspension or termination for AUP violations does not entitle you to any refund of fees paid.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
